I've been doing an article titled 'Get the Look' for Hello! Indonesia for as long as I'm there. And long before Hello! I've been working on 'Wear It Like an It Girl' on my Polyvore. So might as well I pour all of my knowledge here as well.

STYLE INSPIRATION: FALL 2013 FASHION TRENDS

Sorry for the long pause. This post is actually been scheduled for early September but I've been away most of the times. But now I'm back to give you the summary of fall trends: what to wear, which color to choose, how to wear your hair and make up dos!

September is here and as you know September is a big year for fashion publication in magazine. It is always been said so but why? I think commercially, it's the season of the big ticket items! Imagine that parade of winter coats, boots, and all that layering that needs to be advertised. Also the back to school syndrome?

Now unfortunately that irrelevant for tropical paradise like Indonesia. We used to have 6 months of rainy season and 6 months of sunny season. Well lately there's nothing too predictable. It was raining all the way from January to July I think? In August it's turning hot hot summery hot all the sudden. So apparently the rainy season has gone longer than everyone expected. But yes school proceeds after the big festive holiday season wears off.

STYLE INSPIRATION: MTV VMA 2013 Red Carpet

Happy Hump Day!

Enjoy Wednesday everyone. How many of you watched last Sunday MTV VMA 2013? I didn't. But I did my homework and read so many juicy news from the event.

And from the photo taken, I see a resemblance in the dresses worn (well except for Miley's). So here's what I thought what's trending back there.

 While Paula Patton-Katy Perry-Ellie Goulding are amongst those who slit it up to show off their sexy legs! 

When slitting it all the way up doesn't seem to be enough, Rita Ora-Selena Gomez-Ashanti add some plunging neckline to their wardrobe selections.

Personal opinion, I think Selena Gomez nail it there. Sexy but not racy. Love the simplicity of her hair, dress, and even her shoes! Whose your favorite?

STYLE INSPIRATION: Spring Break

TGIF!

Thank God it's FHABulous Friday! How's everyone's second week in the first month of second quarter? How's study? Work? Slow, satisfied, or stressful already? If you're feeling like you need a little break, well I suggest a sunny place to gleam up a bit! Who would refuse a little touch of sand on your feet, ocean breeze on your skin, and beautiful sun rays? I won't! My holiday is coming soon, 2 weeks soon to be exact! I'm going to somewhere with sun, sea, and sand! And it'll be fab because I'll bring my new FHAB collections with me! Pssst... a little clue, I will have the relaunch of Sakura & Chloris for the upcoming high Summer collection. And it's even softer and bolder at the same time. Curious? 

Now, speaking of Spring times.. I named one dress Chloris, taken from Greek mythology which is a name of Goddess of flowers that is associated with spring. In my head Chloris made a sweet seducing sigh so I translate that into a high low sheer dress with floral pattern in Ochre color, the color of earth where the flower grows on. STYLE INSPIRATION: How to Wear this Narcissus Sakura

Good day Sunday!

How are you spending your weekends? However it is I assure you that Narcissus Sakura, as a hybrid between top & dress is suitable for many occasions.

If you wonder what to wear it with? Don't worry because I've provided some options for you. Now I'm sure you have basic items such as t shirt, tank top, short, or skirt? Or the little black dress? Well good news, because all of them are wearable with Narcissus Sakura :) In fact, you can dress it up according to your mood with the simple rules of layering! 

1. Lazy?

There are times when you don't really want to care how and what to look like. You need to go out and you can't really bother to think of what to wear or how to dress your hair besides the ponytail. This Narcissus Sakura is here to help you brighten up your appearance. Just simply wear it over your shirt / tank  and short / skirt pair it with a flip-flop and you're set!

2. Sexy?

When you feel like you're ready to rock the world.. just find  a bustier / tube pair it with short skirt / tights. You don't need too many just mini. Loosen up your hair, get some curls, and bold lipstick. Complete the look with heels.

3. Classy?

Now you don't want to be too flashy. Simple and elegant is the key. Go grab that little black dress of yours that's hanging in the closet and wear it under! Chin up, chignon up (do) too! Wear that mini purse or clutch and you're all good.

4. Please don't perve me?

Ok ladies. For you that don't like to show skin at all..good news is that you can actually wear a long sleeved shirt under! Then wear your jeans / legging / jegging. Oh, and a wedge? Kudos! Dress up your hair in turban would do too.

FASHION NEWS: Romantic Spring/Summer this 2013

TGIF.. Thank God it's.. Fashion Friday.. or let's say FHABulous Friday!

Forgive me on being narcissistic (and terribly busy), but I just launched my second collection last weekend 1st of Feb in the event called Next Level. Got my collection worn by the models in the fashion show and got interviewed by local fashion channel too!

So the theme for FHAB by Bonjep Spring/Summer 2013 is Romantic. And no, I don't get it from John Galliano, Jill Stuart, nor Oscar de La Renta. My ready to wear will describe young woman, be it girly, feminine, playful, mature, elegant, sporty, or cute in a romantic way by the light soft fabric, with floral and vintage nuances wrapped in a classy but edgy style of course.

Will write later on an up close and personal story behind the dresses. Meanwhile, take a look a this! Stay tune for more of the collections soon! Photoshoot on Monday, can't wait!
