I don't know why I woke up this morning having that thought in mind. Maybe it's a past recollection of someone that I used to know. This is also a reminder for myself that being selfish and self centered can only go to a certain limit and that limit is someone else's investment on you, hopes, expectation, trust. When you cross that line and become greedy, know that it's not that you're gaining control over others but that's you losing control of yourself.
What to lose? Well, you lost control of what you can still keep had you not cross the line, everything is at risk of lost. Like time and money and youth, feelings got away too. Those sympathy, empathy, respect, and any good sentiments others put on you. You're lucky if that feelings just get away, in some cases they're being replaced by other sentiments like anger, hate, antipathy.
The fatal part is, you can't just cross the line and step back. Once you crossed it, sober or drunk, it's done. It's up to the other person how to feel and act upon you. All is fair in love and war. So if you're a bitch, then your karma is too.
